Saturday December 6 and December 12

December 6 was a blizzard day but in the afternoon a few hardy souls came to partake in our indoor tours and activities.  December 12 was a very cold day also but with calm winds. Although we didn't have the reindeer many people braved the frigid conditions to enjoy bison and turkey smokies by the fire side. The snow candles were easy to make!

Inside competition was fierce -  guessing the number of corks in the wine tank and trying the blind honey taste test. See our winners below.

Fundraising Stuff

We had been trying to raise $1000 this year. The total from 2007 was $260 from 2008 $740.

But because of the inclement weather we have only raised $370 so far. We do have our collection jars still in the store so we'll total them all December 24.

Thanks to all that have helped us collect this amount. It all will help World Vision supply communities in Sri Lanka, Mongolia & Swaziland with beehives.
