Bodacious Black Currant Sangria
1 bottle Bodacious Black Currant
½ orange
½ lime
½ lemons
1 can of ginger ale
3-4 cups ice
Mix fruit and Bodacious Black Currant together and let it set for
2-3 hrs. to blend flavours.
Add ginger ale ice just before serving.
Chinook Mead Slammer
2 oz Bodacious Black Currant Melomel
½ oz rum
½ oz Amaretto
2 oz orange juice
Serve over ice in rocks glass & garnish w/ a cherry
Spinach Salad with Bodacious Black Current Vinaigrette
Bodacious Black Currant Melomel
1 cup Honey to taste
1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
Fresh baby spinach
Blue Cheese to taste
½ C. Toasted Almonds
2 Green Onions, finely diced
Bacon Bits
Process:
Boil down the mead, add the honey till slightly thick, continued to
boil with vinegar and oil
Combine spinach, blue cheese, almonds, green onions and bacon
bits Toss with vinaigrette and serve immediately
